Crowster, those are the symptoms of wp switch control module that went dead. The horn blowing and smoke coming from under the seat are sure giveaways. I believe the faulty product on that system was the original switch control modules. Wp knows this, that's why they updated it, hopefully this updated one is problem free. Personally I believe wp should give all free replacements of their switch control modules, cause there lies the problem. I haven't heard of anyones power control modules going out. Wp is seems to not give a shit that their product keeps failing, they look for every opportunity to blame you or your bike. But it's obvious, too many big dog switch control modules are failing and they need to own up to their faulty product. Pleasing the customer goes a long way!! But just fucking the customer makes absolutely no since.

Spoke to Kenda last week - super nice lady. Sent her the control switch and she called Friday. She said I got the award for most smelliest burnt one they had seen so far. She sent me the upgraded module and I should have it Tuesday.

Did she offer any info as to why you got that award?

To be honest, I was too happy that she had one available and I would not have to wait weeks to get one. I should have took a picture before I sent it off.
