Have been reading here for weeks. There seems to be nothing within 4 hrs of me that I'm interested in. Someone replied to one of my few posts the other day that I have played over in my head. He said the bike will find me. I think it has. Only problem is it's on the other side of the country. I've talked to the dealer several times. He has sent video and pics of everything I've asked. All the reviews on this place are good. I've just never bought anything this expensive without looking at it. Talked to the dealer Thursday and told him I'd let him know Tuesday. He has not pushed me at all. Then the middle age in me says why do I need another bike? Then the younger man in me says you only live once. Guess we'll see Tuesday. If it's still available I'll take it as a sign and pull the trigger.

I get up at 445 am for work. Get ahold of me around 6 am pst 9 your time. I won’t be able to go check it out until wed or Thursday this week. It will give me a reason to put some miles on the bike...

Did you see the 09 k9 in Carlsbad? 2k less, has the S&S dual runners and rocker boxes as well.

Just got back from the chopper gallery in Temecula it was a great day to get some miles on the ridgeback almost 90 miles round trip. Only issue with the bike was that I overfilled the transmission and had fluid flying out of the overflow tube. The chopper gallery hooked me up and also gave me a t shirt for checking the bike out.
overall the bike looks good, small oil leak from the engine crankcase plug which I told them about, one of the side covers was loose no cracks found. Also told them it was loose. chrome is in good condition, didn’t see any pitting. Paint is good minor swirls from cleaning. Original ehc and starter in the bike. Start. It’s going to need some polishing on the aluminum. It’s starts and runs good.
Great meeting you and talking on the phone hope it’s works out for you. It’s a nice bike the paint is not my style but it does look good

One thing I forgot to look at, was inside the gas tank to check the liner. I was more concerned with leaks and condition.

No need actually enjoyed the ride up !
Not sure where your at at in Georgia but pc is pretty damn close so, bring that k9 and let’s do thunder beach sometime .
I just hope I didn’t overlook something on the bike !

Thanks for kind words. Always a pleasure riding with you and the boys... and the girls that seem to show up wherever we go! but don't tell anybody; and don't want your wife to see this post and get upset -- not my fault we are chick magnets and get objectified by women.

Of course as always; "I will disavow of any knowledge or photos of any girly incidents" should you or anyone be caught....

Lookin' forward to the "Raywood Movie" definitely the icon for 'Big Dog Biker'. I suspect it may warrant the "R" rating not cause he was like a "pirate" or anything; but more like an "eXhibitionist."
