Well anyone that knows Queensland in winter knows that it is perfect weather for riding.
Sunny, clear and about 75 deg F.
Left home a 1pm and headed for our capital Brisbane 300 miles away. Stopped for gas and returned to see an oil puddle under my K9
. Now i pride myself on no leaks so this was a shock. Got some paper towel and cleaned up the slick and the drips under the bike. Oil very sticky WTF............must be g'box oil????
Decided if it's leaking there must be oil in it, so off into the traffic i go. Get 1/2 mile up the road and the head light falls off and dangles by the wire WTF, someone does not me going away this weekend, buy a bolt and fix the problem.
Find my friends waiting patiently on the side of the road for me an hour late.
We set off and i am worried about the oil leak, then i remembered i over oiled my air filter...............problem solved :up:.
After a night with friends and several (see lots)big jugs of beer and bourbon i head of to bed in the weee hours. Upon waking at 8am i go to unlock my bike only to realize i have left the key hanging up at home WTF

After a quick call to my wife she agreed to drive the 150 miles to "save me". My friends agree to carry on with out me.
Saved by the wife with 2 weekends in a row, think i need to by her some roses.:2thumbs::2thumbs:
