The Winter "Terror" Down

Well, what started as a "let's rechrome the lower right fork slider due to the shitty chrome job" turned into a "while I'm rippin stuff off, I my as well get this stuff chromed" job. I ended up going with a custom paintjob too while I was at it. So through the winter months here in Steeler Country, I'll post some updates. But first I'll show some pics of the bike before and after.

NUK, what am I seeing with the hand controls? Is it the lighting? They look nickel plated or something in that table pic of all your new parts.

It's the lighting.....they're chrome. I have a ton of stuff at the chrome shop right now. The bike had a lot of chrome on it already, but I want everything and just about every bolt to be chrome.

Wheels are chrome. Paul's Chrome in Evans City, PA near Pittsburgh. They do stuff from all over the counrty. Very, very good chrome shop, but a bit expensive.

I feel ya.... mine started with a WiresPlus upgrade. Now I'm sending the frame out for powdercoat!!! Crazy how it can get outta hand.:loony:

Thanks for sharing. Getting ready to do a tear down also. Want to chrome the front lowers. I hope I dont get carried away and send my whole bike in to get chromed.
