The Sticker Has Left The Bike

Well, you guys shamed me into it. My sticker was still on my chopper until today. Don't ask me why, I just left it there. Then I read so many threads here that said, "lose the sticker". So guilt got to me.

I took mine off today from my 2003 Chopper. I first thought the clue must be bonded so well to the paint that I'd pull the paint off. So I put the bike out in the Florida sunshine this morning for a bit to heat it up. It came of fairly easily. I restuck it (if that's a word LOL) to a piece of paper and mounted it in my tool chest for the info on it.

Now the chopper has that clean lean uncluttered look about her. Thanks to all that made me feel guilty about it. :2thumbs:

So I went for a ride and I think it ever ran better.

I'll tell you what we need, a gas man how to? I am sure he could take at least 20 pictures or so. Gas where you at? By the way I took delivery of a brand new 03 Black chopper and it had no reflectors.

My '03 Chopper has no reflectors either. I don't think they put them on in 03. It might be a DOT requirement now for street bikes to have reflectors. They should be designed for easy removal with no tell tale marks.
