the eyes of the softail hidden shocks to the frame. My spacers can be turned by hand even though the bolts that hold them seem to be tight. Are they supposed to be free turning or are my bolts looser than I think? ( I know, I know :)) Just want to be sure on this before I make that long ride on the 12th of April. Just seems strange that I can trurn them with my fingers freely. I haven't noticed any vibration or unnornal suspension symptoms. Any ideas on this?

Damn that is a good question. Hopefully someone can chime in here, but I will ask the folks at Full House on Monday if no ones knows for sure.

Gas , sometimes your way to humble my man ;)
BBD... if that is the worse thing somebody says about me... I'll be doing good. My grandmother, bless her heart for she's no longer with us, always taught me to be thank full for what you have, to never take it for granted and to be humble for God has blessed you with. I may know a few things but as long as I keep my POV that there is more to know... I will get farther in life.

And yeah.. Dave and I talk probably daily. The koo koo clock is a inside joke... well anybody that talks to me on the phone when I'm at home will know. My wife and I have a few old clocks... the koo koo is from germany in the 50s and I have my great grandfathers clock in another room...

Thanks Dave... I do try.

the shocks got to be able to pivot or it'll bind from the movement of the swingarm. that is the reason for the shoulder bolts that hold the shocks. the shoulder of the bolt bottoms before the shock.
That makes perfect sense to me! Thanks for the POV/info.

Hey Gas, have you ever adjusted the travel on the shocks/ If you do adjust them from the factory setting, can you get an even better ride than the stock setting? I only ride solo.
