OK... well the chrome parts made it to Browns. 41 pieces = $1850 YIKES!!!!

Changed coating companies... the original place said they couldn't do the ceramic smoothly and therefor not the high quality I wanted. So off I went to find another place. Found Exotic Coatings that would promise a high quality matte finish to the ceramic coating on the pipes. They were within $10 of anybody I called and they do inside and out. $170

I left there and the acid dipper called. The stuff is done.

Picked it up today and ran back by Exotic. Said they would still sand blast it, wash it, and prep it well to give the best quality job. Gave me a quote for the frame, swingarm, swingarm spacer, the 2 plates for the wife's sporty pegs, the exhaust bracket and gas cap adapter.

The stuff above plus these pieces

Powder will be done by Tuesday and pipes by the end of next week. SWEET!! $370 OTD I was impressed by the work they had there. Its a family biz, dad and sons. So that's where I'll get it done.

Its too bad I had to cancel with the other guy but he backed out on telling me he would be able to do my pipes. He sent me looking and I found this guy. Plus instead of being 1.5hrs away, its 20 mins from my house and 5 mins from work. And I'll have the frame back by tuesday and not Thursday. So win win for me.

tell me to shut up if this is a particularly stupid question / suggestion, but have you considered rubber mounting the motor when you put it back together if thats possible to do with these bikes? presumably would take care of a lot of the vibrations
