Didn't read the replies, and not to burst your bubble, but I have those exact same mirrors AND flame mounts. They suck ass. They don't get tight enough (the mirrors on the brackets) and they fall down and vibrate so bad they're almost worthless...anyway, if you can, return them and do yourself a favor.....the mounts are fine I think, but the mirrors blow. Plus my allen bolts are stripped now from trying to tighten them so much and I have to use some needle channel locks to get the job done!
Well that sucks I was buying a set right after Christmas!

Found these they look exactly the same as the ones on the Debrix.com site, but they are twice the cost. Think they are a POS as well? Possibly different manuf.?

custom chrome billet motorcycle mirrors - oval mirrors, flame mirrors, teardrop mirrors

^maybe, not sure, all I know is that they suck and that's the next thing I'm gonna change. The flame mounts themselves are ok I'd guess, it's just that the allen bolts that hold the mirror to the mount work loose, I've tried red locktite even...I think there is just a bunch of vibration in the bars and the little bolts take the brunt of it...don't know, they just really piss me off and sometimes will flop down to the point that they interfere with your hand controls...

Well I will double check that pro and if you are found right, I will say you are and admit my fault! My older set which debrix also sells didnt give me much problems. The threads in the stems at the mounting point to the bars gave out a bit... went a bit coarser on the bolt and fixed. Grade 8 chrome bolt to the cheap metal stem... bolt wins everytime.

Today I got in my Kirk's Custom front pulley locking plate to replace the compensator nut... thanks to Alhall for the info and idea!!!

And here's a ruff idea of who it will go together... but under the allens

Here's what the plate looks like with the nut not in the way

Cool Vid, I liked the flame shoot out.

I think Eric is proud of his work - with good reason :2thumbs:

After 5 or 6 sets of mirrors... I nailed the look I wanted with these from Trotta.... The mounting bracket is a Z... Get comments on them all the time.

You got that right brother... low and mean...

Surprisingly, visibility is pretty good. Only thing I can't see well is the new low profile cherries the cop cars are starting to use out here...

Time to get this project started... don't you think?

Here's what we are looking at...hmm where o where will such a project go with all this clutter?

Lets make room and get organized...

Couple of 8' tables should do the trick

Put some part some parts on it

And put on some more parts.

Looks good... wait till it gets all unwrapped in a "Fast & Furious Display"

Get the sporty off the lift

Put the chopper craddle in the chaulk

Returned to its final resting place before its rebirth

And its surround with love
