HOLY COW!!!! going thru this thread took me almost all day to read and slowly i was reading it while drooling over your Pictures. it was like reading a really damn good book. that bike just friggin rocks and hey I dont mind riding with ya on your right cuz Im deaf so it wont bother me anyway. LOL!! Seriously I have High Respect for you by the way you have documented your work on this bike. I learned alot and hell I would love to be your Apprentice on stuff like this. Gasman, Thank you for your time and effort of your bike. it was such an awesome experience reading and looking at your work. :cheers::2thumbs:

You aren't kidding. I tried to leave the owner clues back here but nother ever came of it. I can't believe if he was looking for a big dog site that it wasn't here.

so i am working on the rear master. i have pulled the snap ring out and fortunately (kind of) nothing flew ouot at me. no dot 5 in the eye or anything. it appears the spacer behind the snap ring is rusted in place. i fit a socket on the spacer and tapped it with the hammer, no luck. not sure about breakfree? any ideas on getting the spacer out? thanks for the help.

Rememeber the key to penetrating oil is to let it sit...

unfortuantely that sounds like a BFH tool that is needed!
