Agree 100%. I stop watching all those shows (Pickers, Pawn Stars, OCC, etc) when it starts being more about the "characters" than the bikes, treasures, cars, etc. That show should really get back to building bikes,as far as iam concerned that show jumped the shark a long time ago.
X2Agree 100%. I stop watching all those shows (Pickers, Pawn Stars, OCC, etc) when it starts being more about the "characters" than the bikes, treasures, cars, etc.

I agree 100% :2thumbs:Discovery Ch had by far the best bike show ever, "Biker Build Off". It was about building bikes from scratch, in a designated time frame, and instead of a circus bike these builders had to ride them 500 or so miles. That abortion 4 wheel thing you had to lie down on Paul SR built for the Vegas build against Jessie, where Jessie built a really cool chopper and Jr built a pimp bike and won due to his favortizum. That 4 wheel abortion would be lucky to go 500 yards, instead of the required distance to the bike rally to get voted on. The Biker build off brought the greats of the biker world on stage to really show what they could do, Russell Mitchell, The late Indian Larry,(who I actually met and sat down with for about 3 hrs in Sturgis in 2002. Great guy and in a short time helped me greatly with a bike problem) Roland Sands, Kendall Johnson, Arlen Ness, Rick Fairless, Matt Hotch, Paul Yaffee, Mike Prugh, and yes even Billy Lane. All these guys BUILT BIKES HANDS ON! Even Arlen Ness! These were great shows worth my time to watch. No kicking down doors or screaming at your disfunctional kids, No Drama Queens, No who is back stabbing who. Just wrench turning TV. I liked it, wish they would start back up!
