Omg so COOL!!! I have always wanted to go to a hot air balloon festival and watch all the balloons rise up...to me they look so beautiful.
Yeah, my strap is cracking bad. Gotta order a new one from Eric when I get home.Well I took off my seat to take a picture of the breaker and seen that the battery strap broke. They don't make rubber like they use too.View attachment 114023
The cap on my carb broke off earlier this week.
Glad you got it runningWhew! I had a close call today. I gave the pitbull a bath today, getting ready for Tennessee. When I went to fire it up, all I got was clicking from the compression releases when I hit the start button. My first thought was "Aw shit! I'm going to have to take the harley to Tennessee." First thing I did was pull the battery from the harley and put it in the pitbull. Same thing happened, so I know it's not the battery. So I start checking cables. Everything seemed tight, but I noticed the rubber insulation on the cable going to the starter was cracked and falling apart and not really serving any purpose. I don't ride much in the rain, but I'm sure every time i wash my bike, that cable is getting wet and rusting. I also noticed the mounting stud on the starter seemed loose in the starter housing. Is it supposed to be like that? If not, how do you tighten it? Anyways, I cleaned up the cable, the mounting stud, and cable end. I tore off the old insulation and wrapped it real good with electrical tape. The bike fired right up, so I'm ready for the May Thang!
