I have to admit, I do love my Road King - especially with the apes - for the shitty weather, and this past year was especially bad...
I couldn't imagine getting rid of something after all of that work, and such an awesome final result.

That's it... its a good deal. Not only on the chop trade in but also on the wife's trade up promo. Had I not stepped on this now, I would loose $2500 on her trade and lord how much more on the chop.

I had a horrible riding season last year and I don't want the same thing again...

I already stated many wouldn't get it but some will.

Is someone getting a sweet chopper. Yep. Wish them well. I even wrote this website on the inside of box I'm giving them with some things in it.

I can see Uma on a Dyna, but I just don't see you on a Geezer Glide. I can't wait to hear how much money you spend on the bike for performance upgrades, braided cables, exhaust, etc.

What color you getting MO? My bud has a silver denim that looks great. The 2009 touring models are allot nicer this year.

Wow....Can't say I blame you either. I don't have the need for two bikes either. I'll eventually do the same. I really want to get out and do some long hauls and I'm not hard core enough to do it on the dog. For what I have and what I can get for it...just not worth the thought right now. I can't believe you got that much for the trade. They are out of there minds. They have to be fucking you somewhere. It's a shame you have to start all over on your post count on the HD site. :D Kidding:cheers:

Funny Vegas. Trust me I went over the numbers with a fuckin calculator right there in the show room. I've been working on it slowly for a few weeks.

And you're right... more than a bike for each of us is just not in the cards or reasonable right now. I went thru the same thing when I switched from sportbike to chopper. Not to say that the wife's new bike won't be cool enough for me to ride...
