1 More question or i guess a confirmation ,Big Dog say NO SYNTHETIC in their brochure but S&S says basically pick synthetic or regular but stick with your choice,I tend to take S&S advice a little more than BD or am I out of line. I use synthetic,mobil1
At the time that the manual for BD was written, S&S also said no synthetic.
It's all about who they have a deal with -- as long as the oil meets the spec it's ok to use.
Synthetic is going to be the best especially right after break in
An engine that has been run on normal oil for extended period may be servered better by a blend of synthetic and conventional.

When I converted my first evo bike to synthentic I can FEEL the temperature drop.
Synthetic also has a higher break down temperature that is very usefull for those of us that get stuck in traffic in the south.
