I ride with Roughnecks a lot out of Lebanon Tn and was invited to ride with them on this benefit ride for Debbie Templeton, a lady dealing with cancer, one of guys Mother in another chapter. They asked me to bring the Go-Pro and video the ride through the country side north of Gallatin Tn, approx 75 miles through some beautiful countryside between Gallatin , up to almost into Kentucky, full escort all the way. Here is just the first few minutes of an hour plus ride. I missed a little at the end that should have been clipped out, please forgive!

Hope you enjoy as much as we did !:2thumbs:

:2thumbs:Damn, that was wonderful. I watched the whole video.:2thumbs:

I have to ask a couple of questions: Are you happy and how did you decide on Go-Pro (ok, two embedded)? If I get a Gumby, would it bother you? I watched Gumby in my early years every morning. I know Gumby rides with you everywhere which is wonderful. If Gumby could ride with me also, it would double his travel time and expand his horizons!

Your Ridgeback rides smooth (other than the speed bumps at the beginning of the video and the ridgeback responded exactly like ridgeback do) or the roads are incredibly smooth.

Anyway, Excellent ride and video. Thanks for sharing.:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

Yes Sir that is the Go-Pro HD 1080p. It is set on the R-2 resolution which I have found seems to do the best. I took me several test runs close to home to figure out the best setting. It will record close to two hours, and easy to use after you get used to it. It is like anything else until you get familiar with it. Patience. I like it. This entire video was about one hour and 14 minutes. When you get all the setting where you want them, battery charged, on your helmet or where ever you what to video from, it is just turn it on, and press the shutter button on top until you see the red light blinking, and video. When you want to stop just hold the front button until it shuts completely off.

When we rode the Dragon after the Po-Po and I talked :D, I turned it off but when I turned it back on I hit the button one time too many which set it to take a picture I think it was every 3 seconds for my first trip through the curves on the Dragon,(942 pictures in full 1080) which I set on my computer as the slide show/screen saver. The first time I rode the curves I was dogging them kinda hard even for a ridgeback, kinda disappointed no video on it the first time but the pictures turned out very good. We are going back soon so I'll get it next time. :2thumbs:

I researched the Go-Pro HD and watched a lot of videos from You Tube from all over the world on You Tube. The best quality/easy to use was what I was looking for and the more I researched it the better it seemed to be exactly what I was wanting. I ride a lot of back roads around here, like this video, and wanted to be able to share if possible the very best of these experiences with anyone who enjoys riding or possibly never ridden a chopper, or someone not able to ride at all, like we are so fortunate to be able to do.

The Go-Pro Hd does everything I was wanting it to do and then some. I am still learning something new but I have Patience. It will take a couple weeks to get the feel for it, but kinda like turning a chopper out of the driveway it takes getting used too. I am very pleased with it.

As for Gumby,,,, He has his own agent which I think just turned Chris Johnson/28 Titans into the 50 million dollar man :D...

Get you a Gumby, you don't have to polish him, just keep him wire tied to the scooter while He is riding the roads.. :2thumbs:
