He's been helping me (offline) trouble shoot a possible trans problem. I've talked to him on the phone, exchanged emails, and posted here. Each time he's very helpful and offers advice and things to check. I'm happy to have found bdb several years ago while doing a Google search. I don't have a mechanic or shop here that I trust, so I try to do things one my own. The things I've done would NOT be possible without this site and the knowledge of its members!:2thumbs::flag:

Andrew - figured out my 'squirrely' issue. rear brake side wheel bearing is going out. 2nd time for me, but I guess to be expected at 28k miles. Anyway, while I have everything torn down, think I will pull that trans and send it your way for a rebuild. Also want WSW to test and take a look at my starter. Guess I'll be down a few weeks.... oh well rather get everything all fixed up and back to normal.

Thank you all. I hope to meet a lot of you some day. This forum is by far the best one I have every been on. Seems like most the others are not as willing to help out like everyone is on here. We can thank Tim and the rest of the moderators for a lot of that as well

The gentleman in question is a great asset to this site, he has assisted so many of us on here. I am on the other side of the world, but if i was in his neighbour hood i would be dropping by with a case of cold beer, he has certainly helped me.

I had the pleasure of having Andrew work on my transmission a couple of months ago. He did a great job and was very meticulous. The one thing that stood out for me was that he not only worked on my tranny but also looked over the entire bike to see what needed attention. He explained to me in detail about all of his concerns about the bike which allowed me to take care of most of the issues on my own. Great Job !
