Well finally got around to do my 5k service most of it any way still need to lube and adjust some minor things but the fluids and chain adjustment done! First I would like to say thanks to BDB and its members for providing a ton of knowledge and experience which made my first attempt at wrenching on the dog not so intimidating. Using the How Tos from this site (http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/how/10-how-service-your-big-dog.html ) and reading many threads along with using my service manual it was a snap. So again I thank you all! I know it may be redundant but I posted some pics.

Step 1 - Having all the right tools makes the job that much easier :D

Step 2 - Drain engine oil; inspect drain plug; Clean/inspect tappet screen

Step 3 - Remove old filter and attach Scavenger

Step 4 - Fill engine oil; run bike until clean oil comes thru the Scavenger. Top off.
**FORGOT TO TAKE PICS

Step 5 - Drain primary and transmission fluid. A modified 2 liter plastic bottle (as stated many times in multiple threads) would have come in handy draining the transmission fluid :D.

Step 6 - Remove primary outer cover and inspect/adjust chain.

Step 6 - Replace primary gasket & install cover.

Step 7 - Fill primary with 32oz. Reused inspection plate gasket and installed inspection plate.

Step 8 - Replaced transmission oil. 20oz.
