Good evening,
I am just about to take ownership of a very cool looking, south American soft tail bike, fitted with a Honda XL650 V-Twin Transalp engine. Nobody seems to know what the frame is, so maybe someone on here will, or maybe Google lens will see what it is once it is stripped to just the frame.
The bike for me, looks the absolute business in how I always wanted to own such a bike, very good looking and low, with single sided swingarm, the bike currently is airbrushed in a 1980's style dated theme, not my thing at all, but I see great potential of how I want it to look, with a more fitting colour for me, stay tuned for updates and pictures, I intend to replace the switchgear with aftermarket button arrangements, maybe wired through the handlebars.
I intend to replace the main loom of relays and fuses with the Motogadget M Unit Blue, which offers a neat and tidy all in one solution for hiding wiring on a bike with no fairings, I think there might be some space under the seat panel, and some under the tank on the spine of the frame.
I understand, but won't know for sure, that the Motogadget M Unit Blue has built in keyless ignition via BT and phone app, but, Motogadget do offer their own keyless access unit if not.
Anyway, that's it for me for now...
Updates to follow soon.
