Once again I want to thank everyone for making this forum possible. Now that we have had some nice days, I have been able to do some longer rides on my new used Dog.
The longer rides lead to the discovery of a new problem. Bike was starving for gas, and acted like it totally ranout even on reserve. Fueled up with 3.5 gallons (Bike holds 4.5) so I couldn't have ran out. Once again get about 30 miles and she's acting like she's out of gas again.

Come home a research fuel starvation, and sure enough many topics about vented gas cap problems. I go out to my bike and can here a vacuum suction sound at the right tank, remove the cap and rush of air.
I removed the vent guts and go ride 75 miles no problem!!!

So thanks again for this forum, searching this sight has taught me so much about my bike. And even when I cannot find a topic and need to post a problem, I get answers faster than any other tech support I have ever experienced!!!
