A while back I posted in the swap meet forum that I was looking for the hardware to install the stock aircleaner on my bike. Carlos suggested a find on ebay, and I bidded but lost to someone with an autobid system during the last second of the auction. Well little behold, I recieved a msg from Carlos that he had one laying around at home that I could have. I didn't really know what to say or think, but was flabagasted by such a kind offer. Well today I received this in the mail and it looks new, and I mean new. Again I am at loss for words and can't express my gratitude enough. Thanks Carlos, one day I look forward to return the favor. If you ever consider traveling somewhere far far away, please let me help you like you helped me.

Well, here is a little update about the filter assy. At first I thought I needed these so I polished them to get all the parts ready.



I then grinded a little bit to make the back plate fit with the Tazmanian XXX carb.



Since my Dog has a kinda unusual set up I needed to fill some holes otherwised used for breathing. I simply made some threads in the wholes and plugged them.



Then I had two spacers made by the guy who makes my custom boat parts at Bob's Machine Shop.



After that I just had to modify the original screws to become washers and order a new set of chrome bolts from bolt depot.com.




Needles to say I am very happy with the result:





I have some left over "Ice cream cone" parts if anyone needs it...
