Th ignition

I hear a lot of guys changing to the thunderheart ignition but also hear of a lot of problems with it ..any suggestions thanks

Are you sure your not confusing the Ignition module with the EHC

The original ignition in my 04 Pit IS Thunderheart. They have an upgraded model that allows you to tweak the timing a bit. Cant remember the model number....?

My 07 K9 came with a ThunderHeart ignition from the factory, I upgraded to the adjustable from Wild Steed Works (curtis pre programs them) Not a problem in 2 years. I am Also running there EHC. The only issue with that is a complete rewire as its definitely NOT a plug and play.

The TH upgrade is the 5012 I believe? I think some folks here have called TH and ordered theirs with the BDM plugin installed? This makes it more plug n play. They may have quit doing that at the factory tho? Worth a quick call...

Wild steed Worx ships them so they just plug in.

OK thanks maybe I am confusing it with the ehc I'm just trying to make my bike reliable as possible as far as the ignition

They are programmed from TH, but you can add you own program if you know how to write it.

Yup! I did that, Plug & Play 100% !

Curtis (I believe) sends them same way.

I dumped the TH ign you cant tune it's locked. I went to a single fire Ultma programable.
Mine is an 03 and TH makes nothing from what they told me.
