Yes , they changed the law.
tied it to registration.
BUT now there are no stickers required....hooray .
ugly thing is gone off my bikes.
The cost is the same as before( if you got it inspected every year )

yeah cops didn't check, UNLESS you were stopped for something else.
A friend of mine got stopped for a taillight out .

His ticket included ,no inspection sticker, no helmet with no proof of health insurance, and faulty taillight ..Cost was over $400.00

I find things I cant do anything about aint worth worrying about.
"NO PROFF OF Health insurance" you got to be kidding:loony:

Yea...Yea I get it. It's really silly is the whole point. Last time I went the guy made me go 40 mph and stop with my front brakes. I looked at him and said, "you really want me to do this? How do you think I got here without using my brakes??" He said "yea I need you to do it".

Just stupid...
"Made me go 40 mph" That's funny. Was he following you or did you have to do it in the parking lot:lol:

No , not kidding.
the Texas helmet law is still here.

However their is a "exemption"
If you are 21 years of age , and have at least 10k worth of health coverage/insurance , then you don't have to have a helmet.
not too many have received a ticket , but it is a law....:bang:

I have heard it was a law. I live in Texarkana Ar and its a twin city (Texarkana Arkansas and Texarkana Texas). State line is right down the middle of the city. Always wondered if I got stopped on Texas side if I would still have to show proof of health insurance.

Also Arkansas doesn't have inspection stickers for any vehicle. Years ago you had to have vehicles inspected but not anymore.

How do you show that you have $10,000 in health insurance? Are they meaning the upper limits of coverage?
