I took about 120 mile cruise through the back roads this afternoon going east and ended up at Center Hill Lake. The weather was great, temp was perfect, everything is turning green around here too. Here is a few pictures nothing spectacular only took with my phone but the riding season is upon us!!!

Thanks for takin' us along Ray:2thumbs:
I am getting the Go-pro helmet cam tomorrow to really take you all along. I used to ride my Suzuki through there burning the road up, pegs on the ground but the scooter as you all know you have to slow down and enjoy the scenery. I had to fill up twice this afternoon, watching the mileage about 120  starting wondering if someone would mistake me for the original Ray ,,, "Raywood",,, :D ( no way my hair is silver witha tint of gray, like Moses when he came off the mountain )

Everyone have a Great Friday, Thanks for taking me along with my scooter,

I am jealous Ray, I live here in Tn. also and Center Hill is only 2 hours away. I was down below Sparta last weekend and went by Fall Creek Falls and on to Rock Island. I had to work today but I did at least get to look out the window all day. Ride safe and maybe I will run into you soon!

Ray, where do you live?
We're in North Nashville but I've drove to East TN tons of times and passed by Center Hill.

Thanks for sharing Ray! So, the fish I see there, is it the trash fish called Carp? :D:2thumbs:

Didn't mean to offend erldawg, that's what we call Carp where I come from. I think it gained it's name because of all the bones. They get big and put up a good fight though...:D

Ok, these fish were Gar, I believe they call them Aligator Gar, really long some 5' and 6' with a long beak of a mouth full of tiny teeth for eating minnows. Carp get big as well and if fixed right and you don't mind picking through the bones for the meat they are ok, if you are hungry. Crappie are the best tasting fish!!

Give me about a week or two I will get you all a video of the entire ride.

Oh, linx if you are just going by Center Hill up 40 your are missing the scenic route. Get off at the Watertown exit take a right and go almost into Smithville, up at the top of the hill ( about 40 miles mostly new highway )you will see a sign on the left going towards Center Hill Dam. Take it you will come out on the top of the Dam. Straight ahead takes you back to the interstate. A road less traveled and great views and smooth too. Take it easy out through there it is crooked/hilly and sometimes there is gravel in the middle of the road where it washes.

I'm familiar with watertown. I've gone through SOME of those back roads heading to Burgess Falls, but not that particular route. I wouldn't mind going that way at all.

So where do you live? I might be up for a ride. The pic in my avatar was taken this time last year on I-40 in Cookeville on our way back from Byrdstown/Jamestown.
