I have the teardrop air cleaner on my 07 Mastiff w/carb.

I read on here about drilling holes to modify for better flow, but the pictures didn't show. anyone got pics of what is drilled?

Also, anyone know the s&s air filter element part number?

I haven't heard about drilling, but S&S makes a wider filter kit that is supposed to flow more air.

Before S&S came out with their wide A/C kit, and stand offs, I used K&N # AO5986. I had to weld some 5/16 round threaded extensions on the existing stand offs, to space the S&S cover out enough to accommodate the 3 5/8" wide X 6" diameter K&N filter element. I'll check the S&S wide element and kit part #, and post.
