Looking forward to retirement
About 10 years ago I saved the life of a huge Great Horned owl, (Bubo Virginianus). He flew into one of my barns and apparently knocked himself out and got a concussion on impact with a steel cross beam. I put him or her in a huge duck blind. after several days of feeding raw meat. I released it and it has nested in a 300 year old live oak beside my house ever since. I call out to him nightly and he answers. doing this for years and years he has taught me how to call other owls in diffrent areas. Really has become almost a pet.

My dog spooked this owl when I let him out late one night, it flew between us at eye level and scared the shit out of me. Check out the time stamp on the pics, takes a badass animal to scare off a big Fisher Cat.
