Tar Removal

I've been using windex on my chrome and billet lately. (not on paint). I love the way it cleans and leaves a mirror shine. Anyone know why windex would be a bad idea? It dosolves tar but it needs to soak a little.

I don't think it would be bad, but wont leave a "protective film" like polish and detailers supposedly do...

I just found this "Turtle Wax"s "Bug and Tar Remover (removes bugs, tar, and tree sap).

It comes in a spray bottle. After washing the bike, spray let sit for a minute then wipe and buff.
Works awesome and leaves a shine just like wax. Good on paint and chrome.
