Tank seems to be rattling

Got a 06 k9 and it seems a lot of noise coming from the tank it? Are their rubber mounts or something that need to be replaced? Any help much app!

there should be rubber mounts, but also check the vent tube in the filler neck. they tend to break loose and are hard to trace the noise back. sounds like everything BUT what it really is.

I hear some say too check top motor mounts as well.

its def the tank....if I press down hard it stops, how hard is it to take off the tank??? just the two bolts?

Tanks easy to remove and the rear mount does go bad -- had one go bad on my first 08 K-9 after maybe 20k miles.

You might want to check your vent tube inside the tank. The weld usually breaks and there's a rattling sound that comes from it. Do a search on here, there's some threads about it on here...

Unless it's really bad, I would use electrical tape, rubber, or heat shrink to get that tight fit you need to stop the rattle.
