Yesterdy my wife had to go to Indiana for her aunts funeral. My plan was to do a little mowing and take the dog out for a good long ride. We have fifteen acres to mow. I started at 7:30 AM. My wife retired 5 1/2 years ago to take care of our granddaugther while our grandson went through liver cancer treatments and transplant.
My wife always does most of the mowing (I only mow about 3 acres) and says she loves it. But after 8 hours of mowing (about 12 acres) I quit for the day and too tire to ride.
So I fugured I would ride my dog to work today; no again, too sore to move much less than breath.
Talking about taking things for granted; now I'm sure I'll be eating humble pie and have not figured a way out of this one. No way she will let me either. One of the things I hear occassionally is "you don't realize how good you have it." Any words of wisdom?:loony::loony:
