Tail light, led light panel loose

Sorry if this has been asked 20 times before but am on my phone & I can't get the SEARCH to work. How do I get the outer lense cover off so I can glue or tighten the led light panel that is wobbling around inside. Do they screw on or are they glued ?? How do I get them off.

They just come out. Sometimes they fall off. HD has a lense cover that fits better. If yours doesn't just pop off then someone may have put a little glue on the edge to keep it in place so it doesn't get lost.

Try twisting it to break any glue if they used any, and then just pull it off.

They will rattle around and with high RPM revs, come off, then you sometimes loose the rubber boot, and the LED panel (50 bucks). The rubber boot for the panel should keep the board from moving around though.. amybe your missing that?

I use a few dabs of clear silicone, to glue them on, stop them from vibrating.

Then when/if I need them off, I can twist and they come right back off.
