Tail Light Isuue

Brand new 2011 K9 250, right tail light quits working, remove lense & bulb. Just seems bulb poped out of it's socket. Put back in & all works fine BUT, now tail light housing is loose & flopping around. Where is the tighten up adjustment for the tail light housing. Tried the inside of the fender but no go, tires in the way. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

I know my ridgeback has done this but I'm not sureif your 2011 has the same lights. If you have an led board then the head of the bolt is behind it. You have to gently pull it out with a hook tool of some kind the rubber boot is all that holds it in. Provided you have the round bullet type that I have

The K9 250 does not have led tail lights, they have regular bulb type. The taillights still work as the brake lights & turn signals though.

Only two places it could be. Inside housing behind bulb socket or from tire side of fender... If you have a manual I would take a peak.

Do not have a shop manual, YET. no nut inside housing, there is a hole in the right location inside the fender / tire side but couldn't get an allen wrench to bite on anything. Will keep trying

Thanks,

Dez steered me on the right track. Although the K9 250 doesn't have led the bulb socket has a rubber boot around it & it is a press fit. Bolt is behind that.

Thanks for the help guys
