Tachometer

My tachometer was running when I started my "new" 2005 Ridgeback last authum.
Now ít´s not.
Any ideas on most common issues for the tachometer, tacho-ring, soldering cables etc.
I haven´t done anything about it.

Any tach light at all?
Loose tach wire...power, ground, signal.
EHC harness connection...Disconnect +battery, Clean A&B harness connections and install new dielectric grease.

Check your standing battery voltage for 12.8v and good clean post connections.

Here's a pic of the problem with my 05 pit. I purchased a brand new ring from BDM for $104. I believe WSW has them for much less now.
