I’m a new k9 owner. Sometimes when the bike is idling the tack light will flash from green to red. All the lights are on but flashing. If I give it just a bit of gas it will work properly. Any input a while it does that

You may may have the idle set too low causing your oil pressure light to come on. It should be between 950 and 1050.

Read page 8-8 and 8-9 for help. If it's not your oil pressure light coming on you may have a loose or dirty connection being triggered by the vibration at idle. Start with your battery connections or battery overall health. Have it tested it can't hurt. Bad connections and poor battery condition cause lot's of problems with Big Dog bikes.

That’s an indicator - shows you visually the idle setting is too low

I agree with Drdave. Had the same issue. Idle adjustment solved the problem. I still went through and beefed up the wiring however.

If the engine runs below 900 RPM for more than five seconds, all of the tachometer LED lights will flash. Just for reference each LED in the digital tachometer represents 500 RPM.
