i have a 07 mastiff with EHC, carburetor. And on my tach when i turn on bike and before and after starting the 3- 3.5 - 4 RPM lights are lite all the time ---- this have been happing for a while only after a wash or rain but now it is on all the time --- I checked the conections on the EHC and cleaned then and also the ones in the speedo housing. Is there more connections under the gas tank?

There is more connections and more than likely there is water somewhere....I know there are more connections under the gas tank-WD 40 and dielectric grease all of them...

Sounds like you have fried a circuit in the annunciator and tach pcb with the water. Typically they do not go out under normal circumstances but you may have to replace it. they are like $150 for the part.

i did not see any connections for the tach under the tank,, there are connectors for the ignition switch, compression releases, coil/power,,, other wires run down the backbone but nothing that seems to seperate...

Do you have a fogged speedo? The moisture in the speedo head could have caused the annunciator PCB to get some corrosion on it and who knows what is now causing the irratic behavior.

You might have to dissasemble the speedo head and check out the tach board etc. and dry it out.
