If its a idle and the idle drops below 950 rpm's the tach will flash. Its a alert to warn you of low idle and low oil pressure. If thats the problem you just need to turn the idle up a bit.

Twisted Spark Plug Wires

Had the same issue caused by the big red twisted spark plug wires, changed back to OEM, problem disappeared.

Rick,

I am curious if you had the EMI/RFI Suppression Twisted Spark Plug Wires #TF-7 because I do and I have not had any issues.

Huw,

That is the same model I had...TF-7 RED, several others on the below forum had the same issue discussed in another tread I started, they swapped their wires and all is OK. The problem may be isolated to a bad batch, I do not know. I have sent several emails to the seller (crownscustomcycles) on EBay, no response on the warranty / RFI questions, nothing but crickets!!

Rick,

Damn the luck! Sorry you and others had issues. I must have been lucky thank goodness. They look good on the Dog and I am glad I didn't have to go through this frustration and find another supplier.

I agree that it had to be a bad batch of wires.

Sucks,

Huw

PS Thanks for your service.:flag:
