Looking for a little help with a tach issue. I have an 05 Chopper DT with a tach acting up. I noticed the tach wasn't reading over 3500 and from 3000 to 3500 it took a really long time to hit 3500. I figured the tach board was bad (vibration), so I bought a new one and installed it. Tach still not going over 3500 with the same slow response from 3000 to 3500. I started checking wire connectors and everything seems fine. According to the manual the tach signal comes from the ign module to the EHC and then out to the tach. I checked the ign module and crank position sensor and everything is good. I could understand a wiring issue if the tach wasn't working at all, but it reads normal to 3000 rpm. Any ideas??? Thanks for the help...
