Yep, I forgot about that. If the idle is too low the tach lights up like a christmas tree as a warning of low RPM. Turn up the idle a bit or rev it up and see if it stops.

Good call Carlos

The reason your lights are goin crazy is because your idle is set to low. If your idle is set below 1000 rpm the comp is goin to go crazy and your idle lights are goin to go all over the place. so when your setting your idle there are two lights blinking which means your bike is idling at 1000 rpm's. hope this helps you out and you should be fine. good luck:2thumbs:

Raywood - i rode last night and the tach worked but i dont think its working correctly... i never saw more than 5 LEDS light up. Thats all green i never even saw red. I adjusted the idle but didnt really know how high to put it. The bike seemed to be wound really high and i never saw red.... what is that gold screw more to the top of the carb? I moved that around at first before i realized that wasnt the idle. What else could be causeing a bad reading if it wrong?

Sounds like its working good to me. You don't want to see red lights anyway. At 4500 it changes to yellow then Red at 55 or 6000 (don't remember which it is). I never rev mine high enough to see these lights either.

On the carb you have three screws. The left (rear) is idle, middle is fuel/air mixture and the right (front) is your accelerator pump.
