thanks big dog for not using s&s rocker boxes i just love spending money to wild steed worx for new ones not to mention the machine shop to do my valve job

The wear marks on top of the valve looks like an hour glass bike was puffing blue smoke on every shift

Around 6000 miles took the heads to the shop yesterday it was as expected valve guides were worn pretty bad Curtis at wild steed as got me hooked up with new boxes FYI if your bike puffs smoke after shifting whew boy get ready it stings ! The guy at the shop said I have saved between 800 to 1200 doing labor myself so pray for no smoke !

Sounds like you have it under control. Should be money well spent. I still have the TP's and would like to change over to S&S boxes. Just don't have the money, plus I've got 23,000 miles on the TP's now and there still ticking along. Hope they hold up

my 05 mastiff did same thing.. bike would smoke like a drag diiesel.. and its a spendy fix.. fixed it and upgraded to a fatter tire and a diamond cut full s&s motor
