I was asked this not long ago. I color coded mine so I knew what was leaking by the color. Royal Purple Motor Oil (Purple of course), Red Line HD Trans Fluid with Shockproof (Pepto Bismol), and Red Line Gear Oil for the Primary (Green). Like oil leaks for Dummies. See the color, know where to look.

ATF - Per Baker's Note...Not running King Kong... But it looks like Spectro or ATF works... Pick your poison..

Q: What kind of oil should I use in my primary?

A: BAKER recommends Spectro Heavy Duty Primary Chaincase Fluid (85W) for all 1980-up stock clutches and mild performance aftermarket clutches. Although we recommend using Dexron III ATF with our King Kong Klutch due to the added friction modifiers found in the Automatic Transmission Fluid.
