Switching from stock bars to Apes

03's do not come with a tack, but you can get an adapter from D&D Big Dog. That mounts a round your speedo, and has a ring to hold the tack in. That is what I have on mine, and love the looks.

What’s the degree of rake on my 2003 chopper?

I'd have to look it up to be positive, but if I remember right, it's 38* and 3 in the tree.

I called Big Dog today and they said 40 deg 37 deg of rake and 3 deg in the trees

I’m thinking about either a small digital one (that goes directly on bars) or mounting the stock one off the rocker boxes...

Now that you mentioned that, I have a bracket that holds a speedo and small oil gauge, that bolts to the rocker. If your interested I'll dig it out and take a picture of it.

Thanks but not needed at this time... the local Hd shop suggested I figure out the bars and riser combo first, then worry about the speedo
