Super Max

Energy One

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Just curious—what kind of mileage did you get out of the Mad Clown pulley? And what would one expect the costs to be to re-coat it? I’m recalling the last one I wore out the teeth on the pulley were seriously worn and looked like the photo in the link. I noticed that SuperMax replaces the teeth and it apparently lasts forever…..looks good!

I ran this pulley on my 03 for quite a few miles before I got the 04. I've put close 20,000 miles on the 04. Teeth don't look to bad, but the teflon coating wore off, and it'd been squealing for a couple years now.
It's around $500 for SM to do the lay over. That includes them shipping it back. As a business, I got a discount. What amazed me was they said it would be about a 3 day turn around.
A new pulley is $400

Just recently took the rear wheel off my Bulldog for a new tire and noticed that the teeth were showing some shine on the tips. I was talking to 41 about this and he mentioned Supermax. If the process is only 3 days or a few more plus shipping times now is the time to get her done.

Thanks

Last time it was dynoed, is was 131 lbs, but I had work done since and don't know. The bike is fast - 04 117
I called the other day and spoke with Vyvyan and was asked the same questions. I reckon everything has limitations. I'm going to ship mine out today as the coating is starting to ware and showing the parent metal. I guess my stock 05 Bulldog will last much longer than your Beast! o_O

I'm wondering how much torque it takes to bend those set screws.
I had to take another look there when you said set screws. I just assumed they used rivets.

It does make sense on the set screws when you give it some thought. Otherwise the rivet would have come through the outer layer of the teflon.

Post some pictures when you all get these, good to see SuperMax is still around and turning these around.
