I have this manifold for a super g but not sure if it will work on a 117. I tried looking up the part number on S&S website but could not find it.
The part number is 16-2581-s. Anyone know if this will work?

Thanks

That # isn't current in the S&S catalog. See if there's a 3 digit # cast on the manifold. If there is I can reference it,or you can call S&S and they can tell you what it fits.
On 117" motors, without head or cylinder work,S&S uses a wide intake manifold. :(

There are two sets of numbers etched/stamped in the runner that goes to the front cylinder 397 is one and the the one below it is 2526. I was wanting to send my heads to you this winter to have them worked over (EPA heads) I'll contact you for that. Just getting things together now.

Dont they use a different manifold than standard due to cylinder highth than a Non Epa or Harley as I remember there bein a differance cause I had to replace one and tried using one from a G kit for a Harley and it woodnt fit, wound up callin S&S to get the rite one.....

I had this one laying around and tried to reference it through S&S catalog but couldnt find it listed. May have to just get the right one after I do the head/cylinder work.

when I called S&S with the same question I was given #16-2595 for the investment cast manifold. Be sure to double check.

397 fits Evo style 88" and 107" motors. The manifold should be narrow,as those motors have short cylinders.
The 117" EPA motor manifolds can be modified to work after head and/or cylinder mods.
'05 should have "E" carbs with restrictors. We usually convert to "G" assemblies.

Don't have it in front of me but I was having what I thought was a intake leak (turned out it was somthin else) Any way ordered a new manifold from Vickie Walker(remember her?). Anyway the part number on it matched the 124 intake number from a S&S catalog. I figured they used this do to the taller cylinders making the intake ports slightly further apart ?

117 cu in has 4 3/8" stroke
124 cu in has 4 5/8 stroke

And this is the intake that you are using now? I wonder how many different variations of this number there are. Very confusing:bang:

I think I will just wait till I get the heads and cylinders done and get the correct intake, dont want leaks do we:D
