Super G intake seals???

I can't believe how much problems BDM has with intake leaks! Both my Ridgebacks have had at least 2 sets of seals each put in them.

I went to the shop this week to get seals to do this myself this time. Got it all tore down and the seals I took out were much thicker than the seals the bdm service shop gave me. They said the seals were S&S seals, not knock offs. But I take it that the BDM seals are thicker to take up for the taller cylinder height which in turn means a wider span for the intake? Any input?

They seem to not know, but I took the seals back and got some "BDM" seals that are thick ones.
Any good pointers on a permanant fix for this?

A thin bead of high temp RTV could just be the fix you're looking for, it could'nt hurt anything!

Plates are gone. Took them out at the dealer before I picked it up!

Those Drag Specialties seals sound like the ticket. They are not in my 2006 book.
I'll look online.

Sul, you have a part number on hand?

You were suppose to replace the restrictor plates with the spacer plates to fill the gap. Or buy a regular S&S manifold that is the proper size!
