i just installed the g upgrade on my 06 k9 with 117 took it to the dyno started off at 85 hp at 105 torque 082 jet size went lean at 4 k started stepping up jets wound up making 119hp at 129tq with a 94 main jet and 310 int jet the dealers i talked to said that main jet was way to big and a stock 117 wouldnt make that kinda power what do yall think

The jets do sound way too big, but if you're making the numbers you want and are happy with the performance over the range you ride, then run 'em!

A 31 Intermediate is what most of us have (with an after market air intake & exhaust)... but a 92 Main... it does seems too big!!!

I have to agree with Franco. A 31 intermediate is about average for most 117's. I haven't heard of many dogs running over an 82 main. Never heard of a 92 main on any modified motor.

I'd have to say that is manipulating the dyno to produce numbers.

No way is just the carb going to make much difference.

Bet he didn't give you a copy sheet.?

i totally agree with yall on this and yes he did give me a copy of the dyno sheet from every pass i made 18 during the time i was there the bike kept going lean so we kept upping jets 94 is where the bike got the best af ratio

Your going to be sucking the gas with a 94 for a main jet. Dont expect to go much more than 100 miles on a tank if your hard on the throttle... :D
