Super D Carb Help

[Okey]

Just bought this 107ci Mastiff. Had NOS system on it that I just removed. Fuel pump, elec nos pumps, NOS tank, lines, intake fittings, etc. Now left with 2 1/4" intake and Super D carb. Working on plugging the intake and setting up the carb for gravity feed. S&S's web site says Super D not recommended for this size engine. Anyone make one of these run with this carb. Be happy to trade the NOS system, carb, intake for stock Super G and intake.
