What are some good High-End riding glasses? Looking for something with removeable foam inserts and maybe even one that changes due to light.

I have several pairs of cheap-o's and they are fine, but I am looking for something more. When I am not riding, I wear Oakley's and have just switched to Maui Jim's. I realize that for some, there is no difference between a $10 pair of sunglasses and a $200 pair of shades. I wish that was me. My eyes have always been sensitive to glare and I can tell a big difference.

I am looking for some with a removeable foam insert. I ride with my cheap pairs just because of the foam insert (I have contacts and this helps). The problem is that the foam does not come out - so when I stop, my eyes start sweating.

I have a pair of Panoptx transitional type which are high quality. The foam is fixed on the pair I have but I believe they sell models with removable foam also. Good fit and quality lenses.

this is what I wear. I have bought so many pair that I've lost track BUT these are the best I've ever come across. You can get foam inserts that are removeable and with high definition transitional lenses. Can't go wrong with these. I love mine and guard them with a passion. :)

Give some more info BBChopper,
You buy the frames and take them somewhere for the lenses or get them with them in it.
I need to have some bifocals in a set with transitional lenses....
My eyes water so bad from being beat by the wind coming in from the sides..

Was looking for a pair my self last weekend and stumbled upon "7 eye" at my local HD dealer. Looks impressive and fits well - am still undecided but I prefer a 24x7 lens one that does not require swaping.

I recently bought a pair of the 7EYE Diablos and they have an excellent fit and the lenses are crystal clear. I had a local optometrist cut my prescription in them and I got the 24 hour lenses so I can wear them day or night. I heard a couple of times that the 24 hour lens (transitions) don't get dark enough but they're fine for me in this Florida sun.

My eye doc carries them, he orders the frames w/o lenses then orders the correct lenses as needed. Not cheap!!!! Frames are like $80.00 lenses 150.00 up!! Mine where like around $300.00, pricy but what a differance and I dont carry two pairs for night etc.!!!:2thumbs:

I have a pair of Wiley-X SG1's with perscription lenses that get darker in the sunlight, I love them, I originally got them when I was in Iraq and have been using them for riding since I've been back. :2thumbs:

i have wileys and panoptix. If you are riding with them just make sure they are a polycarbonate lens that won't shatter in your eye should you take a rock.

Another round please
I have a pair of ESS advancer V12 military glasses. They vent open if you like or stay shut, very easy. The best ones I ever had for my longer rides. Safetyglassesusa.com. I wear regular glasses for the bar hopping.
