cool video, I have to ask what editing software do you use? I used one for my diving trips and the videos are over a gig each. I need something that will let me crop them, add audio, maybe size them down somehow.

Thanks
Sony Vegas. I've seen others here post they use the same. It's a little overwhelming at first but once you get it figured out it works great. Picked it up at SAMs club a few years back for around $75. Im sure there's much better stuff out there now.

When you finalize the movie, it allows you to select the format. Mpeg1, mpeg2, mov, etc. mov is usually the smallest file size. Mpeg's can be hundreds of Meg's where mov's are usually under a 100. For a short clip.

What blows my mind is how does the GoPro handle the bike vibrations to create a smooth video.
Wide angle lenses will lesson the noticeability of vibration. I was surprised that it wasn't worse. The "jello" effect is caused by the rolling shutter gopro uses. Not much you can do about that. You can tell when I rattled the pipes it rattled the camera. If vibration is a major issue you can always pad the mount. I've seen several guys use foam around the roll cage in race cars to help with vibration. I filmed in 30fps to lesson the file size. In 60fps the vibration and jello effect would be much better.

Are you trying to view from the camera folder? Mine does the same. I have starter dragging them straight from the camera to a folder. Then double clicking them and watching via QuickTime.
