Suggestions?

Hey all!

Looking for suggestions for a 07 Mastiff that currently has the Stock pipes on her....

Looking for something with a more aggressive sound but NOT crazy loud.

I have foot pegs too so maybe something that does not require relocation of those and something that is pretty easy on the right had turns...

i will check it out! Im not exactly mr tool man so modifications are intimidating...

I heard h&K has brought back the 2-2 but seems like every big dog I have seen has those...

please let me know your thoughts...

These modifications, as you can see reading the threads, are a piece of cake! It took me an hour to do it and I was up & running with a big smile on my face!

Drill them first... afterwards if you still want more loudness, then just totally remove the baffles. I removed the rear ones, and let the front ones with a drilled hole on them, so to keep a bit of back pressure on the system. it runs fantastic!.

just thinking about it, if you removed the rear and left the front with drilled holes...

then are the rear ones just floating loose? forgive me if that is an idiot question.

As you can see in the pictures, the baffles are spot welded, that's why they are easy to remove.... But, if you just drill a hole in the middle, they will still sit in place. Nothing will float loose. Just a simple hole on them will make lots of difference on the sound (and performance) You will get that "deeper" sound we all like.

see the picture from Raywood? just drill those round plates inside the exhaust (or remove them totally if want a louder sound).

Thanks! Will post pics when I get the bike. Shipping from Utah to Indiana so in the wait period now....

Will open it up to see what other pipes I should be looking at... Here are some thoughts

What other than 2-2k&n. Just seems like every mastiff has those...
Loud but not so loud I have to be concerned with the law writing me a ticket...
Please..nothing that will burn whatever I'm wearing...
Would like to not have to move pass pegs...

Saw the fsn thread and while they look great..they sound crazy loud and would be a law issue for sure...

I got a good deal on the bike so I don't mind spending some money (600 to 1500) so let me hear your thoughts!

Suppertrapp 2 into 2 is what is on the bike currently.

I modified the supertraps works great and i powder coated the heat shield black and drilled some port holes in the shield to give it a different look and its cheap just a little work.
