Suggestions on a Starter?

I called my local starter/alternator rebuild shop today.He said he can rebuild my stock starter and make it alot stronger than stock.He said it would turn a 124 with no problems.He also rides a HD with a 113 incher built his own starter.Price for me around $150.00

if what he says is true... that sounds like a good deal!

Don't feel dumb, Life is a learning curve and untill we're too old to enjoy it we're on the up-hill side of the curve. I'm tryin to learn the way new shit works and it makes me feel dumb for ever selling my old chopped shovel and buyin an 04 softail. Couldn't get used to no vibration so bought me an 03 big dog chopper. Now I'm way out of my neighborhood with all this electronic bullshit but it's all part of the learning curve I guess. Try a 2.6kw starter!

Monroe Alternator & Starter Co. 704-289-2025.Located in monroe NC 1613 Lynn st. about 25 mins. from Charlotte NC. He even told me if I could bring him the starter early he would be done with it that day. His name is Brian.
