Sturgis 2019

I thought about it till I read an article & also heard from a friend that too many cars are congesting the roadways causing a drop in attendance of many thousands of bikers who gave up trying to deal with it all. If that's true then it's a real shame. Other bike weeks I've attended prioritized traffic flow for bikers.

Looking forward to retirement
I’ve been 12 times the last time being 2018. That rumor is false. Attendance is usually around 290,000 -350,000 bikes. If you haven’t been your missing something truly special! Pm me or most of the members on stuff to see. Plan your rides day by day before you go. We usually put down 200 - 250 miles a day riding when we are there. I can sit in bars in Louisiana. In South Dakota it’s about the rides

This is on my bucket list so I'm going to check it off this year. I plan to camp 2 days north of Sturgis then do a ride about to the site of custers battle then back into N. Dakota and work my way east to home in Wisconsin. Subject to change daily

Hey Al that sounds like a good run, don't let someone who is just spreading rumors and never been there scare your plans. I have been going since the late 80's every other year and to your state to Oshkosh in your state as my boys build and fly warbirds. No more traffic going either way then there was five years ago.

I've got a war bird guy here in Spooner . He has a few planes that he flies out of his private airport. He has several fly- ins per summer. His name is Dave Schmidts
