I thought I would throw this out there for anyone who may of had the same problem as me. With the ethanol gas and high humidity we have had here, the gas cap on my 06 Pitbull was stuck. I could get to turn but it would not unscrew. Tried channel locks with no luck. So I took an ice pack and placed it on the gas cap. After 1/2 hour or so it unscrewed. The cold from the ice pack traveled down to the plastic threads and I guess shrunk the plastic. So there you go. Hope it helps someone.
