I know when I installed the softail toolboxes on my BMC 918ST that it came with a spacer and longer bolt so that you could move the pegs away from the bike.
Did the strut bags from BDM do that was well?
has anyone attempted to do this on a K-9. I'm thinking about mounting the softail toolboxes on both sides of the bike and wanted to space the pegs out further so that the passenger isn't hitting the toolbox and restricting foot space on the peg.
Any thoughts -- other than that I'm nuts -- we knew that already.
